In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and peanut butter together on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, mixing slowly to avoid dust clouds. Blend in the vanilla extract, honey, and a pinch of salt if needed.
Add 2 tablespoons of cream or milk and beat until silky smooth. Adjust with more cream for a softer spread or less for a stiffer, piping-ready frosting.
2. Test and Adjust
Taste your frosting—add a little extra honey if you prefer it sweeter, or a splash more cream for a lighter texture.
If the frosting feels too loose, refrigerate it for 10–15 minutes to firm it up before using.
3. Apply the Frosting
Use an offset spatula to create smooth, swooping layers on cakes, or transfer the frosting into a piping bag for neat, decorative swirls on cupcakes.
For cookies, simply spread a thin layer or dip the tops into the frosting.
4. Serve and Garnish
Drizzle with a touch of extra honey, sprinkle roasted peanuts for a delightful crunch, or decorate with chocolate shavings or edible flowers for a beautiful finish.
Serve desserts at room temperature to enjoy the frosting at its creamiest!
