In a medium saucepan, add water, garlic, turmeric, onion, ginger, cinnamon, and guava leaves.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes to infuse the flavors and nutrients.
Strain the tea into a cup. Add a little honey or lemon if you prefer a sweeter or zestier flavor.
Drink warm, either in the morning on an empty stomach or after dinner for improved digestion and relaxation.
