Supercharged Snack: Homemade Energy Fruit & Nut Bars

Roughly chop the dates, plums, dried cranberries, raisins, and apricots. Chop the walnuts and almonds if needed.

2️⃣ Toast the Nuts and Seeds (Optional):
Lightly toast the pumpkin seeds, walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, and sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes to enhance their flavor.

3️⃣ Mix Everything Together:
In a large bowl, combine all the dried fruits, nuts, seeds, and oat flakes. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.

4️⃣ Form the Bars:
Line a square baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down firmly using your hands or a spatula to create a compact layer.

5️⃣ Decorate:
Sprinkle extra sesame seeds over the top and press lightly to stick.

6️⃣ Chill:
Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours to set.

7️⃣ Cut and Serve:
Once firm, cut into bars or squares. Enjoy!
