Soften the Bun: Soak the burger bun in milk until it becomes soft, then mash it into a smooth paste.
Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the minced meat, egg, softened bun, chopped dill, salt, black pepper, and dried tomatoes. Mix until well incorporated.
Sauté the Fillings: In a pan, melt a bit of butter and sauté the onions until translucent. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Stir in the diced pickles and set aside to cool slightly.
Create the Patties: Take a portion of the meat mixture, flatten it in your hand, and place a spoonful of the sautéed mushroom filling and some shredded mozzarella in the center. Carefully fold and seal the meat around the filling to form a patty.
Cook the Patties: Heat a little butter in a pan and cook the patties over medium heat until they are golden brown on both sides and fully cooked inside.
Prepare the Fresh Salad:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, sliced cucumber, grated carrot, chopped parsley, and minced garlic.
Dress the salad with lemon juice, salt, a pinch of chili pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. Toss well to combine.
Serve:
Plate the tender, juicy minced meat patties alongside a refreshing heap of the crisp vegetable salad. Add a dollop of mayonnaise, mustard, or tomato sauce if desired for extra flavor.
Tip:
These patties also work great inside a bun for a homemade gourmet burger experience!
