Gently crush the cardamom pods to release their aromatic seeds.
Boil:
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the crushed cardamom pods (and cinnamon if using).
Simmer:
Reduce heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse deeply into the water.
Strain and Serve:
Strain into a cup, add honey if desired, and sip slowly while breathing deeply.
