Cheesy Minced Meat Puff Pastry Pinwheels: The Ultimate Party Snack

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent. Add the minced meat, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through. Let it cool slightly.

Assemble the Pinwheels:
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Spread the cooked minced meat evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese generously on top.

Roll and Cut:
Carefully roll the pastry sheet into a tight log. Use a sharp knife to slice the log into 1–1.5 cm thick rounds.

Bake:
Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each with beaten egg for a golden, shiny finish.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm or at room temperature.
