Pour the milk into a small saucepan and add the peeled, crushed garlic cloves.
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to simmer gently.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and strain to remove the garlic solids.
Let it cool slightly before drinking. Add a teaspoon of honey if desired for a sweeter flavor.
