Sweet Simplicity: Cherry Almond Yogurt Loaf Recipe

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another large bowl, mix the yogurt, sugar, eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth and creamy.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.

Slowly mix in the vegetable oil until the batter is just combined.

Fold in the pitted cherries, distributing them evenly throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the top with sliced almonds.

Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the loaf to cool completely before removing from the pan. If you want a little extra sweetness, drizzle with the optional glaze once cooled.
