Prepare the eggshells: After using the eggs for cooking or baking, rinse them thoroughly to remove any leftover egg white or yolk.
Boil the eggshells: Place the cleaned eggshells in a saucepan. Add enough water to fully cover the eggshells.
Bring to a boil: Heat the water over medium-high heat until it starts to boil. Then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
Cool down: After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the eggshells to cool.
Use or store: You can either crush the eggshells to add to your compost or use the water for gardening, as it's rich in calcium. Alternatively, you can use the eggshells as a natural abrasive for cleaning.
