Healthy Homemade Multi-Seed Crispbread for Snacking & Spreads

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine mixed seeds, rolled oats, whole wheat flour, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder (if using).

In a separate small bowl, mix together warm water, olive oil, maple syrup, and chia seeds. Let the chia seeds soak for a few minutes to help bind the mixture.

2. Form the Dough:
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. You should have a thick, dough-like consistency.

If the mixture is too dry, add a bit more water, a tablespoon at a time, until it holds together.

3. Roll Out the Dough:
Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper and place another sheet of parchment paper on top.

Roll the dough out into a thin, even layer, about 1/8-inch thick. The thinner you roll the dough, the crispier the crispbread will be.

4. Cut & Bake:
Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to score the dough into squares or rectangles.

Place the scored dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Let the crispbread cool completely on a wire rack.

5. Serve:
Break the crispbread into individual pieces along the score lines.

Serve with your favorite spreads like hummus, cheese, or avocado, or enjoy them as a crunchy snack on their own.
