Grate a small piece of fresh ginger (about 1 teaspoon) and add it to a cup. Ginger is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties and natural antibiotic effects.
Add Honey and Lemon:
Squeeze half a lemon into the cup and add a tablespoon of raw honey. Honey has natural antibacterial properties, which can help fight off infections and soothe irritation in the throat. Manuka honey is especially potent, but any raw, unprocessed honey will do the trick.
Add Warm Water:
Fill the cup with warm water (not boiling, as too hot water can destroy some of the honey’s beneficial properties). Stir everything together.
Drink and Rest:
Sip the mixture slowly while it's still warm, allowing it to coat your throat. Drink this remedy 2-3 times a day to ease symptoms of sore throat and inflammation.
