Making your own dessert sauces at home not only allows you to control the ingredients but also brings out a richer, fresher flavor than store-bought options. These recipes are simple, versatile, and perfect for drizzling over ice cream, pancakes, fruit, or even enjoying on their own!

1. Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup water

1 cup granulated sugar

Pinch of salt

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Place cocoa, water, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan. Whisk over medium-low heat until the mixture thickens and the cocoa has completely dissolved (about 3 minutes).

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

The chocolate sauce will be thin while hot but will thicken as it cools.

Pour into a jar or covered container. Cool at room temperature, then cover and store in the refrigerator.

Enjoy it on ice cream, in milk for hot chocolate, or as a dip!

2. Caramel Sauce
