Crispy Potato Bites That’ll Have the Whole Neighborhood Talking

Prep the Potatoes: Peel and rinse the potatoes, then grate them using a large-hole grater. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible using a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth.

Season & Mix: In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes with salt and oil. Add the potato starch or cornstarch and mix well until the mixture becomes sticky and holds together.

Shape the Bites: Form small flat rounds or nuggets using your hands. Try to make them even in size for consistent cooking.

Cook Until Golden: Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat with a thin layer of oil. Fry the potato bites in batches until golden and crispy on both sides—about 3–4 minutes per side.

Drain & Serve: Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot!
