Dab Vicks VapoRub directly along the trail where ants are entering your home. Ants dislike the strong menthol scent and will avoid crossing the line.
You can also apply Vicks to any cracks or entry points in walls or doors where ants might be getting in.
For Flies and Gnats:
Place cotton balls soaked with Vicks in areas where flies and gnats are common, like trash cans or near food sources. Flies are repelled by the strong, pungent aroma.
