How to Make:
Infuse the Oils:
In a small saucepan, warm 3 tablespoons of coconut oil with 2 tablespoons of olive oil over low heat. Once warm (not hot), add 2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus petals or 4–5 fresh petals.
Simmer Gently:
Let the mixture simmer for 5–7 minutes. The oils will take on a rich red tint as the hibiscus infuses.
Cool and Strain:
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Strain out the petals and stir in 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.
Massage and Rest:
Massage the warm oil into your scalp and through your hair from root to ends. Wrap your hair in a soft cloth or shower cap and leave it overnight.
