Slice the Onion: Peel and thinly slice the onion.

Layer in a Jar: In a clean glass jar, layer the onion slices and drizzle honey over each layer until the jar is full. Press down lightly to pack it in.

Cover and Rest: Close the jar with a lid and let it sit at room temperature for at least 6–8 hours (or overnight). During this time, the onion will release its natural juices, infusing the honey with its healing properties.

Strain (Optional): You can strain the syrup to remove onion pieces or leave them in. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
