Smoky Crispy Chicken Wings

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get extra crispy.

Season the Flour:
In a bowl or zip-top bag, combine the flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne if using.

Coat the Wings:
Toss the wings in the seasoned flour until evenly coated. Shake off excess flour.

Cook the Wings:

For Oven-Baked:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Brush or spray with oil.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy and golden.

For Air Fryer:
Lightly oil the air fryer basket. Place wings in a single layer.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.

For Deep Frying:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry wings for 8–10 minutes, until cooked through and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
