Oven Baked Chicken Thighs

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high heat will help to achieve crispy skin on the chicken thighs.

Prepare Chicken:

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This step is crucial for crispy skin.

Season Chicken:

In a glass mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, and rosemary. Stir until the mixture is well combined.

Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken thighs, making sure to coat them evenly on both sides.

Bake Chicken Thighs:

Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a 9x13-inch casserole dish or on a baking sheet, skin side up. Make sure they are not crowded to allow for even cooking.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy.

Serve:

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Optional: Serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of freshness.
