For gas burners: Use a damp cloth with a bit of dish soap or vinegar to wipe the burner heads. A toothbrush works great for scrubbing away stuck debris.
For electric stoves: Clean the burners with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before reattaching them.
6. Soak and Clean the Stove Surface
Mix a solution of 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup vinegar with a little water to make a paste. Apply this paste to the stove surface where grime and grease have built up.
Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then scrub with a damp cloth or sponge. You can also use a commercial cleaner if needed.
Wipe down with clean water afterward to remove any residue.
7. Dry Everything
Once all parts are cleaned and unclogged, dry them thoroughly with a clean towel. Make sure no moisture is left, especially if you’re cleaning gas burners.
8. Reassemble the Stove
After everything is dry, reassemble your stove. Place the burner grates and drip pans back in place, and double-check to make sure everything is properly secured.
