Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread it out evenly.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. If the top starts to brown too quickly, you can cover it with foil and continue baking.
Cool:
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
