Baked Oatmeal with Apple, Banana, and Nuts

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish (around 8x8 inches) with a little butter or cooking spray.

Prepare the Oatmeal Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Add the milk and stir to combine, making sure all the oats are soaked.

Assemble the Oatmeal: Pour the oat mixture into the greased baking dish. Arrange the chopped apple and sliced banana evenly on top of the oats. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the fruits, and drizzle with honey or maple syrup if you like it sweeter.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oatmeal is set.

Serve: Let the baked oatmeal cool for a few minutes before serving. You can enjoy it warm as is or with a splash of extra milk on top.
