Mix the basil, oregano, cilantro, dried garlic, dried onion, cayenne pepper, and paprika in a small bowl.

Rub this seasoning mix evenly over the pork steaks on both sides.

Cook the Pork Steaks:

Heat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter.

Once the butter has melted, add the seasoned pork steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F or 63°C).

Add the minced garlic to the pan during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to release its flavor into the butter.

Finish and Garnish:

Remove the pork steaks from the pan and let them rest for a couple of minutes.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

For the Creamy Potatoes:
Boil the Potatoes:

In a pot, bring the cubed potatoes and water to a boil. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until the potatoes are soft and easily pierced with a fork.

Mash the Potatoes:

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a smoother texture, add a little more milk.

Serve:

Serve the creamy mashed potatoes alongside the juicy, flavorful pork steaks. Garnish with more parsley if desired.
