Chocolate Balls: A Sweet and Nutty Delight

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed biscuits, finely ground hazelnuts, and cocoa powder. Stir the dry ingredients together to ensure they are evenly mixed.

Add the Butter and Chocolate Spread:
Add the tablespoon of butter and a generous amount of Nutella (or similar chocolate spread) to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly until you get a firm dough that sticks together. The mixture should be pliable enough to roll into balls, but not too sticky.

Form the Balls:
Take a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Once the ball is shaped, place a whole hazelnut in the center of each ball. Make sure to seal the dough around the hazelnut so it’s fully enclosed.

Chill in the Refrigerator:
Place the formed balls on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes or until they are firm.

Prepare the Coating:
While the balls are cooling, melt the milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave. Once melted, stir in the coarsely crushed hazelnuts to create a crunchy coating mixture.

Coat the Balls:
Dip each chilled chocolate ball into the melted chocolate mixture, making sure it’s fully coated. Gently roll the ball in the crushed hazelnuts to cover it completely.

Let Them Set:
Place the coated balls back on the parchment paper and let them dry for a few hours, or until the chocolate coating is set.
