Cheese and Ham Breakfast Casserole: The Perfect Morning Saver

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Prepare the Bread Layer:
Grease a baking dish or a casserole dish. Arrange 6 slices of bread at the bottom of the dish, covering the base completely.

Layer the Cheese and Ham:
Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread. Then, place a slice of ham on top of each cheese slice. Repeat with the remaining bread slices, layering them on top.

Mix the Egg Mixture:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the 2 eggs, 100 ml of milk, and a pinch of salt until smooth and well-combined.

Pour the Egg Mixture:
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread, cheese, and ham. Allow it to soak in for a few minutes so the bread absorbs the egg mixture.

Top with Extra Cheese:
Sprinkle additional cheese on top for a deliciously cheesy crust.

Bake:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are fully cooked.
