Ingredients:

1/2 cup heavy cream (or thickened cream)

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

4 medium-sized potatoes, thinly sliced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: Grated cheese (e.g., Gruyère or Parmesan) for topping
