Prepare the Gravy:
In a bowl, combine the water, chicken gravy mix, condensed chicken soup, garlic powder, and kosher salt. Stir until the gravy mix is fully dissolved and the ingredients are well blended.
Layer the Chicken:
Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker. Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, ensuring that it’s evenly covered.
Slow Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender. The chicken should easily shred with a fork.
Serve:
Once done, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the gravy and mix. Serve hot, and enjoy over mashed potatoes, rice, or with a side of vegetables.
