Parmesan-Crusted Chicken with Penne in Creamy Sauce

Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Combine with Pasta: Toss the cooked penne pasta into the creamy sauce, ensuring it’s evenly coated.

Serve: Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.
