This melt-in-your-mouth Patty Melt combines juicy beef, caramelized onions, and melted cheese all sandwiched between crispy, buttery rye bread. A delicious twist on a classic!

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 is ideal for juicy patties)

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices rye bread (or your preferred bread, such as Texas toast)

4 slices Swiss cheese (or American cheese, if preferred)

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 tbsp unsalted butter (for toasting bread)

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking onions)

Optional: Garlic powder, for seasoning
