Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a grill to medium heat.

Prepare the Meat Mixture:

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs (if using). Mix until well combined.

Form the Bombs:

Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty, then place a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese in the center.

Fold the edges of the patty over the cheese to seal it inside, forming a ball-like shape.

Wrap in Bacon:

Wrap each beef bomb with 1-2 slices of turkey bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.

Cook:

Oven: Place the bacon-wrapped bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked through.

Grill: If using a grill, cook the bacon bombs over indirect heat for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the meat is fully cooked.

Add BBQ Sauce:

During the last few minutes of cooking, brush each bacon bomb with BBQ sauce and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes to let the sauce caramelize.

Serve:

Let the bombs rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the cheesy, bacon-wrapped goodness!
