Apple Delight Cake

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Prepare the apples:

Peel and slice the apples into thin wedges. Set them aside.

Mix the batter:

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt until smooth and fluffy.

Sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth.

Add the apples:

Gently fold the sliced apples into the batter.

Bake:

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Decorate and serve:

Once cooled, dust the cake with powdered sugar for decoration.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
