Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the tilapia fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
Drizzle the fillets with olive oil and rub them to coat evenly. Season both sides with garlic powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Add the Mediterranean Toppings
Sprinkle the lemon zest evenly over the tilapia fillets for a burst of citrus flavor.
Squeeze the juice of half the lemon over the fillets, ensuring they’re nicely coated with the tangy citrus.
Top the fillets with the chopped Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and crumbled feta cheese. These ingredients add a rich, salty flavor that complements the tilapia beautifully.
Step 3: Bake the Tilapia
Bake the tilapia in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
If you prefer a slightly crispy top, you can broil the fillets for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
Step 4: Serve
Remove the tilapia from the oven and transfer the fillets to serving plates.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and an extra squeeze of lemon juice, if desired.
Serve immediately with your favorite sides such as couscous, quinoa, or a simple green salad.
