In a large skillet or sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and slightly crispy. Remove the sausage from the pan and set it aside.
Cook the Shrimp:

In the same pan, add the butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside with the sausage.
Sauté the Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for 2–3 minutes, until softened and fragrant.
Add the Cabbage:

Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8–10 minutes, until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized. You can cover the pan for a couple of minutes to help the cabbage cook down faster.
Combine and Season:

Return the sausage and shrimp to the pan with the cabbage. Add paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir everything together to combine and heat through. If desired, add a splash of apple cider vinegar for a tangy finish.
Serve:

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot. This dish is perfect on its own or paired with cornbread for a satisfying meal.
