Seafood Pasta Salad: A Fresh and Flavorful Delight

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.
2. Prepare the Seafood:

If using cooked shrimp, chop them into bite-sized pieces. If using crab meat, break it into small chunks.
3. Make the Dressing:

In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
4. Combine the Salad Ingredients:

Add the cooled pasta, shrimp, crab, diced celery, chopped bell pepper, red onion, sweet corn, and parsley to the bowl with the dressing. Toss everything together until the seafood and vegetables are evenly coated in the creamy dressing.
5. Adjust Seasoning:

Taste the salad and adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice as needed. If the salad seems too dry, add a tablespoon of olive oil to loosen it up.
6. Chill and Serve:

Cover the salad with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
