Prepare the Broccoli:
In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Ensure the florets are evenly coated.
Roast the Broccoli:
Spread the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the edges are crispy and the florets are tender.
Add Parmesan:
Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot florets. Toss gently to allow the cheese to melt slightly.
Serve:
Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a zesty kick. Serve warm.
