Prep the Ribs:

Season the beef ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika on both sides.
Layer the Slow Cooker:

Place the sliced onion in the bottom of the slow cooker. This adds flavor and helps prevent the ribs from sticking.
Make the Sauce:

In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well.
Add Ribs to the Slow Cooker:

Place the seasoned beef ribs on top of the onions in the slow cooker. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture evenly over the ribs, ensuring they’re well coated.
Slow Cook:

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat easily falls off the bone.
Optional Step – Broil for Crispy Finish:

For a crispier exterior, preheat your oven broiler to high. Carefully transfer the ribs to a baking sheet and brush with additional BBQ sauce. Broil for 3-5 minutes, keeping a close eye on them to avoid burning.
Serve:

Serve the BBQ beef ribs hot, with extra sauce from the slow cooker drizzled on top.
