- 8 ounces of cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

- Searing the Beef: Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned beef tips in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear the beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a deep brown crust forms. This step is crucial for developing rich flavors. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
