- To get rid of any dirt or pesticides, give the okra pods a good wash.
- To expand the surface area, trim the ends off the okra pods and slice them in half or into large chunks.
Bring the okra to a boil.
- After preparing, put the okra in a pot and add water to cover.
- Once the water reaches a boil, lower the heat and simmer it for ten to fifteen minutes, or until it starts to take on a little viscous consistency.
After straining, serve.
- After taking the pot from the stove, let it to cool somewhat.
- To get rid of the particles, strain the liquid using a fine-mesh sieve.
- Depending on your preference, you may either drink the okra water warm or keep it in the refrigerator and drink it cold.
