Fragrant Indian Keema: Spiced Ground Beef with Peas

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until onions are translucent.
Increase the heat to medium-high, add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.
Stir in curry powder, turmeric, cumin, and chili powder, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
Add water and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.
Stir in the frozen peas, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes or until the peas are heated through.
Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
