Filling the Pans: Divide the batter evenly between your prepared pans. Use a spatula to spread the batter out and remove any air bubbles.
Baking Time: Place the pans in the center of the oven and bake according to the recipe. Avoid opening the oven door frequently as this can cause the cake to deflate.
Testing for Doneness: Use a toothpick or cake tester to check for doneness. It should come out clean or with a few crumbs clinging to it.
5. Cooling and Removing from Pans:
Cooling: Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes. This lets them set and makes them easier to remove.
Removing from Pans: Run a knife around the edge of the pans to loosen the cakes, then invert them onto a wire rack to cool completely.
