Authentic Filipino Lumpia - Eggrolls

1 tsp oil
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 Thai red chili minced
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp sriracha
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Cornstarch slurry ( 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tablespoons of water)
Procedures:
In a pan, heat oil. Add garlic and saute till fragrant. Add red chili and saute for 2 minutes. Add vinegar, water, sriracha, sugar and salt. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes. Add cornstarch slurry and cook till thickens on your desired consistency for about 2 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. Store in fridge up to 1 week. Use ad dipping sauce for egg rolls, dumplings or chicken nuggets. Enjoy!
