Tuna Melt Stuffed Tomatoes

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the insides, leaving a hollow shell. Discard the seeds and pulp.

In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Spoon the tuna mixture into the hollowed-out tomatoes, filling them generously.

Top each stuffed tomato with shredded cheddar cheese and bread crumbs if using.

Place the stuffed tomatoes on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let the tomatoes cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.
