Garlic Parmesan Pork Chops with Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, until bubbly.

Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Arrange the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish in an even layer.

Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes, covering them evenly.

Bake:

 

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
