3. Make a well at the center and gradually add your water to form a dough.

4.Transfer to your table, gradually knead in your butter to form a smooth stretchy dough for about 20-25minutes.

5.Form a ball with it, place in a bowl and allow to rise for 20 minutes or until doubled in size.

6.After it doubles, punch it down and start forming your balls with your dough.

(You can use scale to measure so that you have equal sizes, I usually measure 80g).

7. Place each ball on a separate paper (you can place on flour).

8. Allow these to rise or until doubled in size.

9. Heat your oil until it is just hot enough to cook your dough.

10. Pick one dough, using the paper, drop carefully into the oil, you should see just tiny bubbles and not large ones.

11. Flip the dough once it's golden brown.

12.Place on kitchen towel to remove excess oil, allow to cool

(You may desire to fill with jam or any filling of your choice).

To fill your doughnut with jam or any filling

Remember there's a whole lot of filling so make use of the one that suits you

1. Use a round nozzle and a piping bag to fill the jam or milky filling

2. Make a hole, insert the nozzle and squeeze the jam or milky filling in it. You can go ahead and sprinkle powdered milk, to have the treading milky doughnut.
