- 8 slices of sourdough bread
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Instructions
- Prepare the Buffalo Chicken: In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. On the unbuttered side, place a slice of cheese, a generous amount of the buffalo chicken mixture, any optional add-ins, another slice of cheese, and finally another slice of bread, buttered side up.
