Assemble and Bake
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Brush a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Pour the potato mixture into the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Top the potatoes with the onion and pepper mixture, spreading it evenly over the top.
- Grate cheese over the dish, if desired.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked through and the top is golden brown.
