A gluten free golden butter birthday cake with thick layers of fudgy frosting!
Ingredients
For the cake (*See Note):
2 cups brown rice flour
2/3 cup potato starch
1/3 cup tapioca flour or starch
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons xanthan gum
1 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
