1. First, the base is an oily dough, so not too dry like some other bases from Frankfurter Kranz.

2. Preheat oven to 191°C.
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and creamy. Slowly add oil and liquid. Mix flour with baking powder. Now pour the dough into the greased form (wreath form or springform pan with a chimney).

3. Now bake the base in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes. bake. Do a stick test to see if the base is cooked.

4. Next, let the base cool and cut it twice.
For the buttercream you have to cook a vanilla pudding from milk and pudding powder according to the instructions. Allow the pudding to cool, stirring occasionally to prevent the pudding from developing a skin.

5. Now stir the butter until foamy and slowly stir in the pudding.
Now sprinkle the bottom layer with the red jam, then spread some of the buttercream over the jam.

6. Place the second layer on top and spread the butter cream again. Now place the last layer on top and spread the remaining cream around the outside of the cake.
Finally, sprinkle with brittle and decorate as everyone likes
